a couple thoughts on sticking around - because this might not kill sex work tumblr ENTIRELY

-as far as ive been made aware so far, tumblr is going to do this by specifically deleting nsfw CONTENT - not entire blogs. If that were the case, they’d be deleting an otherwise innocent user base for horny crimes committed before the tumblr law changed. therefore, we’ll still have at least a portion of our following.

- while we’re no longer able to post nudity or pornographic content, we can go the way of instagram and post clothed and censored adds for our content. i have no idea yet what could happen to users toeing that line, but it seems worth a shot to preserve at least a fraction of your sales, clients, etc.

-NOW IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TIME TO BE REBLOGGING SEX WORKER’S CONTENT

-since the nsfw tags have been purged, from here on out, most of our networking will be through reblogs, for those of us who decide to stick around. aside from supporting your favorite sex workers monetarily, the BEST thing you can do to support us is to continue our marketing by reblogging and spreading our content. this will continue to gain us more followers and potential sales.

things are definitely gonna be like. rough, on this site, from here on out. but tumblr is also the only site with a self sustaining trans sex worker user base, and the idea of losing that community is just ridiculously tragic. the lgbt sex workers on this site have built an incredible space for expression and creative content making, and nsfw content made for and by numerous marginalized groups. that’s just like.. not something im quite ready to let go of, y’all.

i genuinely feel like we as a community can still thrive, in spite of this.
